Coastal Morning 8x12

This painting is a study in getting the register of values in shadow and light adjusted to each other and the conditions.  The morning sun splashes across the coast splitting this scene into cliff and ocean shadow and light.  The water is dynamic, the rocks are shear and jutting, and the reflecting light is brilliant, making this a very dramatic scene.
