The study of life continues to inspire...now from a different perspective...
After a 40-year career as a cell biologist and administrator at Cal State Fullerton, I took up oil painting in my retirement. Having taken an introduction to oil painting workshop in the early '70s, I put down the brush to finish graduate school, establish myself as a teacher-scholar, teach students interested in becoming cell biologists, physicians, and the like, and collaborate on research with students in my cell biology of fertilization and gamete ultrastructure laboratory.
